The carrying mechanic allows a creature to carry objects with them, such as carcasses (carnivores only), ferns, comfort crystals, comfort flowers, and babies of its own species.

The carry mechanic is activated by double tapping the use key (default “E”) with the player’s head next to something that can be carried.
