Attack: Kronosaurus is able to bite using the left-click button on your mouse. This attack does moderate damage on average, changing depending on which dinosaur it's biting. (If it bit an Apatosaurus, it would do less damage than if it were to bite a Parasauraulophus.)

Unique Abilities: The Kronosaurus can hold right-click to perform a charge attack that can do massive damage once released depending on how long the button was held. This shatters bone and cripples its prey, making for an easy kill.

Other Facts: An apex predator of the Bermuda seas, the Kronosaurus is an ambush hunter. Lying in the depths for unsuspecting prey, the Kronosaurus can have surprising speed when using its special ability. While primarily a carnivore, the Kronosaurus can feed on fish in times of desperation. One of the Kronosaurus' biggest competition is the Mosasaurus, with frequent confrontations occurring.

Kronosaurus is a large aquatic reptile. Kronosaurus is possibly the top of the food aquatic food chain in the game, despite their smaller size and slower speed compared to the Mosasaurus. A skilled Kronosaurus is able to use its special charging ability to deal immense damage to a target, but this attack requires timing and good aim to land, but can severely cripple or outright kill the target easily. The Kronosaurus had teeth which could become a few inches long but they lacked the lethal cutting edges what most big marine predators had. Overview

The Kronosaurus is a playable aquatic creature in Beasts of Bermuda. It has incredible short-range dashing speed, making it a profound ambush predator. However, its sprinting speed is very mediocre in comparison to other aquatic creatures, somewhat limiting its ability to chase its prey.

Nonetheless, it is regarded as one of the strongest predators in the game, as it can instantly cripple any target with a single lunge, lowering their mobility and preventing any kind of escape, all while the Kronosaurus continues to slowly maul its victim with its bites.

An adult Kronosaurus will hunt anything in the water, from Mosasaurus to Elasmosaurus, to even terrestrial creatures who decide to take swim.

Abilities

 • Secondary Attack: Upon holding down the secondary attack button, an icon appears on the screen resembling an empty bar, which begins to slowly fill up; The Kronosaurus is preparing to lunge for massive damage! The more the bar is filled, the more damage it will do when unleashed. While charging, aim can be adjusted with the movement keys. A charge will automatically be unleashed if ability power runs out while charging.

Tips

The Kronosaurus is the largest creature with access to the Elusiveness talent, which lets it become almost invisible to other players at the cost of ability power (60 ability power at stage 1, which decreases by approx 10 for every stage upgraded). Kronosaurus players favor this talent, as it eases the difficulty of growing a juvenile Kronosaurus in the midst of predators, as well as serving as an ambush tool once adult stage is reached.

An adult Kronosaurus has formidable depth pressure resistance. Don't be afraid to dive into the abyss if you need to escape, hide, or simply rest on the sea floor.

Weaknesses

Kronosaurus, as with all other aquatic creatures in the game, suffers heavy mobility loss as well as comfort drain when beached. Additionally, the Kronosaurus is considerably slower than all other aquatic creatures in the game (except when lunging).

Failing to land a hit with a Lunge could potentially spell death for Kronosaurus of any size. Exposing yourself to your foe, costing Ability Power — And if you use it recklessly, the powerful speed may even Lunge you far inland and get you beached!

Lastly, and most importantly, it is one of the most vulnerable creatures as a juvenile, as it is both weak and slow.

Though its sprint speed was slow (as intended), its ability power regeneration was very high at older stages of growth, allowing the Kronosaurus to continuously use the lunge ability with little delay so it could catch up to fast creatures. This is no longer possible due to an ability power regeneration nerf.
