Storms

Storms are random weather events that occur on the island. They can range from mild to chaotic, and have the chance of generating lightning, fires, and tornadoes. It's also possible that during storms lightning strikes occur. If hit, a player will die. However, adult Apatosaurus are immune to lightning. Lightning strikes will also generate fires in the future. Also, tornadoes can start whirling during a storm Tornadoes are generated during intense storms. They will pick up all players, with the exception of adult Apatosaurus, and chuck them across the map. Tornadoes will track any player who's not in a cave and they tend to track the largest concentration of players in a single area.

Forest fires

Forest fires are started from lightning. When a fire is spawned, it will propagate across the terrain, spreading to nearby trees, shrubs, and bushes. The fire will continue burning until it has ceased to find suitable vegetation to propagate to. The larger the fire, the further its reach, so large flames can jump from tree to tree, whereas a small fire may only be able to ignite other plants immediately beside it.

Forest fires contain the power to potentially wipe out entire sections of the map from being habitable for herbivores, sometimes requiring migration to other parts of the map to find green vegetation.

Close proximity to forest fires will sharply reduce comfort. Standing in a forest fire will kill you.

Rain makes it more difficult for forest fires to spread. Due to this, fires are most likely to propagate aggressively during dry lightning.

Currently, forest fires are disabled but will be readded in the future

Fires are currently disabled but will be readded in the future.

Floodings

Flooding occurs during storms and occurs due to rain causing the tides to rise dramatically. This allows Aquatic Creatures to have more room to roam. Terrestrial creatures must seek shelter or they will risk drowning.
