Rivers are a source of water for the creatures of Bermuda. They differ from lakes in several ways.

First, rivers have a current. This current varies in strength depending on location in the river, so choose your crossing sight carefully. There are rapids that can carry a creature away, and in the future hitting objects like rocks while in the rapids will do health damage.

Rivers will also stretch across large areas of the map, and may lead into lakes and the ocean. This allows many animals to drink from one water source without necessarily coming into contact with each other.
