A group of Megalosaurus

Players are able to form groups called herds or packs depending on the creature.

A herd can consist of mixed species of various different Herbivorous Creatures.

A pack consists of a single species of Carnivores.

Carnivores of the same species will lose comfort if they are not in a group.

To invite someone to a group you can use a few different methods.

  • Double-tapping the open Player List key (Default: Tab) scrolling to the players name, clicking the action dropdown to invite to the group.
  • The Chatbox can be used to invite someone to a group by using the /invite command, by doing /invite followed by the name of the player it will send an invite to them to join the group
  • Walking up to the creature and pressing the USE key (Default: E) to send an invite.
  • Using the in-game group finder tool to open the party up for others to request an invite into.

Once in a group, you'll be able to see other members in your group locations via the location of their player tags, you're able to toggle the display of these tags using the toggle group tags key (Default: i).

Over time, members of a group will become friends with each other, reducing the amount of damage done to each other.

While in a group with a member of the same species of the opposite gender can make use of the Nesting system to bring new life into the world.
