The Acrocanthosaurus is a large, playable carnivore in Beasts of Bermuda. It's one of the slowest carnivores in the game, only being faster than the semiaquatic Ichthyovenator's terrestrial movement speed. Special Abilities: Acrocanthosaurus will be able to inflict terrible bleeding wounds on its opponents. Bleeding is a status effect that damages health, comfort and raises injury damage. This allows the Acrocanthosaurus to engage in persistence hunting, wearing its prey out over long distances while they succumb to blood loss. A skilled Acrocanthosaurus can fell even the largest of creatures, so long as they are not allowed to recuperate.

Other facts: The Acrocanthosaurus will be the second strongest carnivore in the EA release, after the Tyrannosaurus. It makes up for the lack of power to Tyrannosaurus with superior speed, meaning it is able to pursue a wider variety of prey over long distances.
+
*It has also an Intimidating Roar, which for 50 ability power causes the target to lose a percentage of its stamina, and reduces its damage output by a percentage, this effect lasts 6 seconds. The effect get's weaker and the ability cost rises if Intimidating Roar is used before a timer of 18 seconds expire, which can be seen as an icon over the affected player. This effect can also stack which further decreases the stamina and damage reduced and increases the ability cost. After the 18 seconds expires, the ability cost of the Intimidating Roar and the amount of stamina and damage which will get reduced resets. The effect of Intimidating Roar can be increased with the also called Intimidating Roar Talent. As an example, 5\3 points in this talent invested will decrease the damage output by 54%. When aiming this special ability press RMB or LMB to cancel it.

The Acrocanthosaurus is capable of doing a small jump that costs significant stamina.  It serves the only purpose of allowing the Acrocanthosaurus to avoid getting stuck on small ledges or rocks in certain areas, granting little other utility.

Oops, something's missing!
It looks like this page is missing something - or maybe a lot of things! Beasts of Bermuda, despite its recent player increase, has had a very loyal following that didn't require a Wiki for the most part because of how tight-knit its community is. This means this Wiki has gone unmaned for a while now! Fear not, however, for there are still many resources out there while we try to update this site, such as our New Player Guide or the Official Discord Server. See you out there on the islands!

Information

The Acrocanthosaurus is a large, playable carnivore in Beasts of Bermuda. It's one of the slowest carnivores in the game, only being faster than the semiaquatic Ichthyovenator's terrestrial movement speed. However, it has a decent damage output and bleed, in addition to its ability, to counter it. It also has the highest health and size. The Acrocanthosaurus is a superb ambusher due to its high damage output. It is the carnivore most capable of hunting the huge Apatosaurus and the swift Parasaurolophus.

It serves the only purpose of allowing the Acrocanthosaurus to avoid getting stuck on small ledges or rocks in certain areas, granting little other utility, although the jump can be improved through the Powerful Legs.
 • It also has a fast metabolism and must eat regularly to avoid starvation.

Tips
