Overview
The Mosasaurus is the first fully aquatic creature to be added to Beasts of Bermuda. It is an oceanic apex predator, able to drown its prey by dragging them into the abyss of the ocean. The Mosasaurus is also capable of swimming up waterways and through underwater cave systems to access waterholes and ponds that terrestrial creatures frequently drink from, allowing it to surprise its prey in other locations too!
It is currently the largest (length-wise) aquatic creature in the game and quite possibly the deadliest predator in Beasts of Bermuda - but don't overestimate its power. It can get stuck on land from a misjudged jump or a suddenly receding tide... and a stranded Mosasaurus is almost always dead a Mosasaurus.

Pros and Cons
Pros:
+ Top tier aquatic predator
+ Excellent damage
+ High health
+ Can grab other creatures
Cons:
- Slow
- Can die from beaching
- Requires a lot of time to grow ____________________________________________________________________
Abilities
- Primary Attack: The Mosasaurus lets out a powerful bite. When fully grown, each bite depletes 8.5 ability power and deals 140 health damage in return.
- Secondary Attack: A long-range dash attack that causes the Mosasaurus to rocket forwards at incredible speeds, inflicting 140 health damage to any creature it rams into. It can also use this dash to jump out of the water.
This attack requires 48 ability power and 32 stamina for an adult Mosasaurus to perform. This is a very large consumption of ability power, so be mindful.
Special Ability: The Mosasaurus grabs a creature by locking them in its powerful jaws. When pressing the ability key within a short distance of a creature (default ability keybind is Z), the Mosasaurus will snatch that creature in its jaws at the cost of 15 ability power. Upon pressing the primary attack key, the Mosasaurus will thrash the victim around, dealing 163.1 health damage (in 7 bursts of 23.3.) Holding the primary attack key will instead cause the Mosausaurs to continuously thrash every second. The Mosasaurus can continue thrashing for as long as it has ability power, which will consistently decrease as the victim is held. The Mosasaurus' ability power will decrease significantly faster if it is thrashing a large creature.

Weakness
With the simple mistake of beaching itself, the Mosasaurus can suddenly turn from threatening to harmless. While on land, its diminutive flippers do little to scoot its massive body forwards, causing it to move and turn at a painfully slow rate. Comfort constantly decreases at this state and predators can easily kill it, so it must get back to the water as soon as possible or it will inevitably die.

Additional Notes
- It is beaten by the Kronosaurus in terms of weight
- The Mosasaurus appears to a community favorite, being the most well fan-received creature in Beasts of Bermuda
