| It looks like this page is missing something - or maybe a lot of things! Beasts of Bermuda, despite its recent player increase, has had a very loyal following that didn't require a Wiki for the most part because of how tight-knit its community is. This means this Wiki has gone unmaned for a while now! Fear not, however, for there are still many resources out there while we try to update this site, such as our New Player Guide or the Official Discord Server. See you out there on the islands! |

Information
Acrocanthosaurus is a large playable carnivore of a similar build to Parasaurolophus in Beasts of Bermuda. Like Parasaurolophus, Acrocanthosaurus dances between the line of a Mid-Tier & an Apex. Meaning Acrocanthosaurus is a mix of the best aspects of both Realms. Speed & Durability.
Acrocanthosaurus Specializes itself as a pack based attrition hunter, Using its ability to apply the Bleed status effect to hinder its opponents ability to Heal. Acrocanthosaurus also has amongst the highest base natural healing capability in the Game. Additionally, Acrocanthosaurus has a Powerful ability to apply a damage debuff to its target for a limited duration named Intimidating Roar.
All these unique features combined creates a rather formidable opponent specializing for Attrition Based fights. Making Acrocanthosaurus quite a capable hunter towards Large Slower Playables like Apatosaurus, Brontosaurus & Saichania.
Special Abilities
Bleeding Bite The standard attack for Acrocanthosaurus. This attack applies the Bleed Status affect & deals 225 Damage at base. This attack costs 12 Ability Power to use.
Intimidating Roar This is Acrocanthosaurus most famous ability. Intimidating roar applies a damage debuff to a ungrouped target you're looking at closest to you. At base this Debuff is at an effective 25% or 0.75x reduced damage inflicted by the targeted Playable.
Other Facts
- Acrocanthosaurus is pretty maneuverable thanks to its good base turning speed & Model Turn Flexibility. Allowing Acrocanthosaurus the ability to respond quickly towards potential threats on its flank. Or to outmaneuver & apply pressure to the flanks of larger, slower targets.
- Acrocanthosaurus has amongst the highest base healing in the game, allowing you the ability to more quickly recover from Injuries.
- Acrocanthosaurus being on the line between an Apex & a Midtier, makes it a pretty solid Playable for both Solo & group play. Thanks to your ability to comfortably avoid threats you don't want to face whilst having the stat & ability package to hold your own against smaller opponents comfortably.
- Acrocanthosaurus features fast Sit & Sleep animation, allowing you to respond to threats that may be sneaking up to you.
Tips
- Manage your Comfort stat well, As a high comfort stat boosts your already impressive High Healing rate. You can improve your Comfort by consuming Bias items like Yellow flowers and blue crystals found on Titania. Alternatively you can also add points into the Resilience talent which gives a constant boost to your Comfort. Making it much easier to manage.
- Adopt a Hit & Run playstyle. Especially towards opponents that are more heavier built than you, Acrocanthosaurus is relatively squishy towards larger targets making Acrocanthosaurus mostly unsuitable for Direct Brawls. Using your Intimidating Roar as an opener to approach your target to get a few bites in applying bleed before running away to make distance from your target. As the damage debuff from Intimidating Roar will lessen the lethality of any injuries you could potentially receive. Once you've made distance from your target, your high healing will allow you to quickly recover while your opponent is still recovering from your bleed. Do this enough times successfully means you'll eventually kill your target. Patience is key here.
- The base healing rate in Beasts of Bermuda is 15s. Every 15s you'll recover a bit of health you lost. But thanks to Acro's high healing & fast rest & get up animations. You're able to time the 15s Healing timer with your fast rest animations to get a big boost in health recovery during active fights! So as long you find a small safe moment to do so. Experienced Acro players use this technique to become a constant active presence in any engagement.
- Find a pack! Acrocanthosaurus method of attrition based hunts will be made much easier with pack mates! Don't be afraid to reach out towards fellow Acros.

Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Impressive Speed & Maneuverability for its size.
- Access to some of the most impactful abilities in the game, through the bleed Status, High healing & a Damage Reduction ability.
- A solid playable to pick up that is comfortable in almost any scenario with experience.
Cons:
- Acrocanthosaurus is probably the most vulnerable in the early beginnings of any encounter, since the majority of Acrocanthosaurus's impact & presence thrives in long, deep fights.
- In a Ironic twist, Acrocanthosaurus is pretty weak towards other playables that also have access to the Bleed status. As Bleed in high amounts will nullify Acro's feat of having the highest base healing in the game, which hinders Acrocanthosaurus ability to secure attrition based fights.
Trivia
- Acrocanthosaurus received it's remodel along with Kronosaurus in the "Flippers and Fangs" Patch, which got released at the 4th of september 2021.
