Tyrannosaurus Rex (T.rex/T-Rex) had lived throughout what is now known as western North America, on a former island continent known as Laramidia. Tyrannosaurus had a much wider range than other tyrannosaurids. It lived during the Maastrichtian age of the upper Cretaceous Period, from 68 to 66 million years ago, and is one of the strongest and largest carnivores in the Beast of Bermuda islands.

The Tyrannosaurus is by far the strongest terrestrial carnivore in-game. With a bite attack that does 450 damage, it can kill all but the largest animals in a few hits. However, its power is curtailed by having an extremely small pool of stamina. This makes the Tyrannosaurus an ambush hunter. Unlike the Acrocanthosaurus, which is a persistence hunter, the Tyrannosaurus rex is forced to lie in wait, hidden among the foliage, until a prey item passes by. If its attack does not connect and do the necessary injury damage to cripple its prey's movement, it will be left in the dust.

A single bite from the Tyrannosaurus inflicts a substantial amount of injury damage, instantly crippling the movement of its prey. This ensures that a single strike will prevent its victim from escaping. However, the Tyrannosaurus often finds itself outpaced, as its power is curtailed by its terrible stamina. This makes the Tyrannosaurus reliant on devastating ambushes, hiding among rocks, ledges, and foliage until prey passes by.

Oops, something's missing!
It looks like this page is missing something - or maybe a lot of things! Beasts of Bermuda, despite its recent player increase, has had a very loyal following that didn't require a Wiki for the most part because of how tight-knit its community is. This means this Wiki has gone unmaned for a while now! Fear not, however, for there are still many resources out there while we try to update this site, such as our New Player Guide or the Official Discord Server. See you out there on the islands!

Overview

The Tyrannosaurus is a playable carnivorous creature in Beasts of Bermuda. It is by far the strongest terrestrial carnivore in-game. With a bite attack that does over 425 damage, it can kill all but the largest creatures in just a few hits.

Once the Tyrannosaurus has learned how to ambush well, it becomes a predator of unimaginable power.

Abilities

 • Special Ability: Titled "Devastating Ambush" – It's a very fast speed buff, that can be activated after 10 seconds of solid, nearly motionless crouching. — Once ready, an icon will appear as a status effect - press the Ability key once to trigger the Ability. Allowing the Tyrannosaurus 5 seconds of Increased speed, draining stamina as you run and taking a set ability power, if you run out of stamina, you will still be able to run and continue until the 5 seconds are up. Devastating Ambush also has the exact same effect on walking speeds, however it's somewhat useless since the ability is more for running things down without getting exhausted, than for walking fast, for a short time.

 • Secondary Attack: Same as the Primary Attack, except it makes the Tyrannosaurus bite downwards instead of forwards.

Tips

 • Unlocking combat talents is recommended to make your Tyrannosaurus even deadlier. Unlocking all combat talents will allow you to deal over 550 damage.
 • The stomps of the Tyrannosaurus are very loud. Due to this, the Sneaky perk is high tier for the Tyrannosaurus, as it lets you walk silently and ambush prey.
 • Hunger depletes fast so be careful. Always be looking for food.
 • A well-grown Tyrannosaurus can do just fine hunting alone, though pack members are always a plus to have.
 • Young Tyrannosaurus are often targeted by other players in fear that it may grow to become an unstoppable hunter.

Weakness

The great strength of the Tyrannosaurus only shines in its adult stage. A juvenile Tyrannosaurus will find itself slow and weak, and susceptible to being hunted. This is made worse by its loud footsteps and shallow stamina pool. Growing a Tyrannosaurus is a difficult challenge, and it will take patience and time.

Even when fully grown, however, the bad turning radius of a Tyrannosaurus can prove to be a hindrance. Enemy creatures will often aim for the tail and heels of the Tyrannosaurus, which are its blind-spots. Try mitigating this weakness by blocking your tail against a wall or standing in deep water.
