The Ichthyovenator is a playable piscivorous creature in Beasts of Bermuda. It is a dinosaur that depends heavily on the ocean to keep it alive, as its main food source consists of large quantities fish. For this reason, the Ichthyovenator is capable of swimming at very fast speeds, darting through the water in order to snag as much fish as possible before returning to the shores to rest.

The Ichthyovenator is a playable Piscivorous creature in Beasts of Bermuda. Though somewhat slow on land, it is adept at moving in water. It uses its great aquatic mobility for a variety of uses, such as catching fish, traveling long distances, initiating combat or make a swift escape from predators.

Despite its carnivorous diet and mobility in land and water, it's not as ferocious as one might think. It has only a low amount of health and damage, so it only poses as a threat to smaller creatures - but its low combat utility is counterbalanced by its incredible elusiveness. The Ichthyovenator is very difficult for any predator to catch, since it can dive into the water when chased by larger terrestrial creatures such as Megalosaurus, and scramble back onto the shoreline when approached by deep-sea threats such as the Kronosaurus. The Ichthyovenator can even slip free from the grab of a Mosasaurus! With so much evasive power, the Ichthyovenator can stay safe even in the most threatening shorelines.

But be reminded that Ichthyovenator will not always flee its foes. Sometimes it will take them head-on. With its quick strikes and unexpected strength, the Ichthyovenator is a surprising predator for most, capable of taking on threats of all sizes. Whether hunting alone through skill or in a group to turn the tides of foes, it can overwhelm even the toughest creatures in an instant.

When in water, it darts forwards at incredible speeds, damaging anything it crosses along the way. The dart can also be used to jet out of the water and high into the air, whilst having some airborne control.

*Slippery: Using the Secondary Attack when trapped inside the jaws of a Mosasaurus will allow the Ichthyovenator to struggle out of it, though it costs a high amount of ability power and injures the Ichthyovenator in the process

*Bottom Walking: Ichthyovenator can walk along the seabed while underwater, which improves its healing rate, stamina regeneration rate, ability regeneration rate, increases the breath bar timer, and increases the speed boost gained from using dart. Cons:

*Storm Lord: A buff that activates when swimming in water or during heavy rain, also stays active for a short period when leaving the water and walking on land. The Ichthyovenator is quite weak, dying in just a few hits to other creatures. Though it can easily avoid these problems by escaping into the water or shoreline, a storm with force it to take refuge in a cave, which will most likely be already occupied by another creature that can easily kill the Ichthyovenator.

* The Ichthyovenator has a shimmer skin, which glows in the dark. It was obtainable through an event in the Beasts of Bermuda Discord. This event is now over, and the skin cannot be unlocked by anyone else.

Additionally, a Pteranodon can continuously attack an Ichthyovenator both on land and in water, requiring the Ichthyovenator to either dive deeper into the water or face the Pteranodon head-on.

Oops, something's missing!
It looks like this page is missing something - or maybe a lot of things! Beasts of Bermuda, despite its recent player increase, has had a very loyal following that didn't require a Wiki for the most part because of how tight-knit its community is. This means this Wiki has gone unmaned for a while now! Fear not, however, for there are still many resources out there while we try to update this site, such as our New Player Guide or the Official Discord Server. See you out there on the islands!

Overview

The Ichthyovenator is a playable Piscivorous creature in Beasts of Bermuda. Though somewhat slow on land, it is adept at moving in water. It uses its great aquatic mobility for a variety of uses, such as catching fish, traveling long distances, initiating combat or make a swift escape from predators.

The Ichthyovenator is difficult for most predators to catch, as it can dive into the water when chased by larger terrestrial creatures, and scramble back onto the shoreline when approached by deep-sea threats.
