Overview
The Mosasaurus is the first fully aquatic creature to be added to Beasts of Bermuda. It is an oceanic apex predator, able to drown its prey by dragging them into the depths of the ocean. The Mosasaurus is also capable of swimming up waterways and through underwater cave systems to access waterholes and ponds that terrestrial creatures frequently drink from, allowing it to surprise its prey in other locations too! It is currently the largest (length-wise) aquatic creature in the game and quite possibly the deadliest predator in Beasts of Bermuda.
Most players take serious caution swimming in the ocean simply due to the Mosasaurus.

Abilities
Primary Attack: the Mosasaurus lets out a powerful bite. When fully grown, each bite depletes 8.5 ability power and deals 140 health damage in return.
Secondary Attack: a swift, long-range dash attack, similar to that of the Ichthyovenator and the Elasmosaurus.. It requires 48 ability power and 32 stamina for an adult Mosasaurus to perform. The Mosasaurus will inflict 140 health damage to a player it collides into during the duration of the dash.
Special Ability: grabs a creature and locks them in its powerful jaws. When pressing the ability key within a short distance of a creature (default ability keybind is Z), the Mosasaurus will snatch the creature in its jaws at the cost of 15 ability power. Upon pressing the primary attack key, the Mosasaurus will thrash the victim around, dealing 163.1 health damage (in 7 bursts of 23.3.) Holding the mouse key will instead cause the Mosausaurs to continuously thrash every second. The Mosasaurus can continue thrashing for as long as it has ability power, which will consistently decrease as the enemy creature is held. The Mosasaurus' ability power will decrease significantly faster if it is a large creature it is thrashing.

Weakness
With the simple mistake of beaching itself, the Mosasaurus can turn from threatening to harmless. While on land, it suffers a horrible decrease in movespeed and turning radius, as well as a constantly decreasing amount of comfort. It becomes easy prey for other predators, so it must get back to the water as soon as possible or it will inevitably die.
