Overview
The Apatosaurus is the largest animal in Beasts of Bermuda. It's so big that nearby creatures will get knocked away by its footsteps.

Being big, however, requires a big appetite, and so the Apatosaurus has the biggest belly of any creature in the game. Its diet consists of almost any kind of plant, including trees, and its thirst sometimes causes it to sip entire ponds straight up dry! Once satisfied, the Apatosaurus doesn't have to eat or drink for a very, very long time.

Alongside this, the Apatosaurus has a strong natural resistance to harsh weather. For instance, the Apatosaurus can't be picked up by a tornado! Furthermore, it also grants nearby herbivores some if its weather resistance too, making the Apatosaurus an excellent creature for saving the lives of others caught in a storm.

Lastly, The Apatosaurus boasts the highest amount of HP and damage in the game, as well as being able to attack from any angle with incredible knockback, making it very hard to for any predator to kill. This effectively deters most predators from attacking it in the first place, letting the Apatosaurus live a generally peaceful and undisturbed life.

Abilities
primary attack: A stomp attack.  It rears up onto its hind legs momentarily and then stomps with its front limbs.  If anything is nearby, it will take a very heavy amount of damage.  The only creature capable of surviving this stomp is another Apatosaurus.  This attack, however, also can make you vulnerable as movement is not allowed during the stomp attack.

secondary attack: A tail whip attack, much more potent than its stomp. This attack should be the primary means of defense for the Apatosaurus.  The execution of this attack is a bit different than others, as the attack is actually initiated when the Secondary Attack Keybind (Default is Right Mouse button) is released, rather than when it is pressed.  While the button is held, the Apatosaurus' tail will aim in the direction of the player's camera.  When released, the tail will crack like a whip, dealing lots of damage and heavy knockback.

Thirdly, the Apatosaurus is capable of walking backwards. This is to prevent attackers from hiding under its hind legs, which are not in range of the whip attack. Walking backwards will cause them to be knocked back and into the range of the whip attack. In order to walk backwards, a player must press and hold the crouch keybind.

Oops, something's missing!
It looks like this page is missing something - or maybe a lot of things! Beasts of Bermuda, despite its recent player increase, has had a very loyal following that didn't require a Wiki for the most part because of how tight-knit its community is. This means this Wiki has gone unmaned for a while now! Fear not, however, for there are still many resources out there while we try to update this site, such as our New Player Guide or the Official Discord Server. See you out there on the islands!
