The Velociraptor is the smallest creature that can be selected for play in Beasts of Bermuda. It is a carnivore, and must eat meat in order to survive. Though it does not have the piscivorous trait, some players have been able to sustain themselves eating fish as the Velociraptor due to its relatively high swimming speed.

It has a very low weight, and grants very little food to large predators. It also, however, consumes very little of a carcass when eating, and works very well as a scavenger. It has a high metabolism, and must eat regularly in order to survive.

The Velociraptor has the highest stamina pool of any creature, possessing 150. This allows it to run and jump a significant amount before tiring. It is also highly adept at jumping, allowing it to climb and reach high ledges and rocks.

The Velociraptor's primary attack is an ordinary bite. It deals light damage, and must bite larger foes a significant amount of times in order to land a kill.

The Velociraptor's secondary attack is a pounce, which is capable of latching onto large prey. A pack of Velociraptor can down large opponents such as the Acrocanthosaurus quite efficiently.

Unique Abilities: The Velociraptor has several unique abilities. It is able to pounce nearly all of the creatures in the game. The Velociraptor is also the only creature in Beasts of Bermuda capable of grabbing onto ledges, cliffs, walls, and some trees. In order to successfully grab a ledge, a player must beholding down the use keybind while approaching a grabbable surface and while in the air. Finally, it is able to enter Oryctodromeus burrows, even as an adult.

Other Facts: The Velociraptor was the first dinosaur to be added to Beasts of Bermuda. It is the main predator of Oryctodromeus. Being able to enter its burrows, there is almost no escape for these little herbivores. A pack of Velociraptors is a deadly force of nature, and even a skilled lone velociraptor can take out large quarry.

The Velociraptor has no weather resistance, and must take shelter from storms in order to survive.
