The Talent Tree is where Talents can be found and where Talent Points are spent to obtain or upgrade various talents.

Every Dinosaur has a talent tree. Some talents, like Good Parent, are shared by everyone. And some talents, like Evasive Maneuver, can only be found on Megaraptor.

The icon of the talent name represents the talent. Hovering over the talent will show you current level of the talent (out of 3), number of inherits, and talent information. Talents start at the center and branch outwards. A talent must have a higher level then the next one on the branch to upgrade it, regardless if you have the points or not.

Saving Talent Builds

An infinite number of talent builds can be saved per species.

As of Patch 1.1.915, saving talent builds is currently disabled due to issues with its code.

Unique builds can be created using the talent tree. For example, Megalosaurus can be built to become a semi-aquatic fisher. Talent builds can be saved and will appear to the left of the talent tree. They will be color coded depending on type of talents used, and can be named to one's liking. This allows for players to be quick and efficient, not having to remember their favorite builds.
